Islands

We activated French Island for the Islands On The Air (IOTA) contest. The IOTA programme was established in 1964 and it promotes Amateur Radio activity from islands all around the word. Operating from islands can be a significant challenge especially if the island has no power, shelter, facilities or is hard to get to.
